The Ownership Difference

Four things that matter long after the paperwork is signed.

Factory-Certified Service

Atlanta service centers staffed by manufacturer-trained technicians using genuine OEM parts. Your car gets the expertise it was built for.

Collision Expertise

5 I-CAR Gold Class collision centers across metro Atlanta, factory-certified by the brands we sell. OEM parts, exact paint matching, structural integrity restored.

Manufacturer Warranties

New and CPO vehicles carry full factory warranties backed directly by the manufacturer — not a third-party administrator you've never heard of.

Deep Atlanta Roots

Roswell, Marietta, Smyrna, Decatur, Doraville, Union City, Lithonia, Stonecrest — when something comes up, a Nalley location is never far away.

The Details That Matter

What “no service support” really costs you after the sale.

The sale is the easy part. Here's where online-only retailers leave you on your own.

Collision Certification Isn't Optional

When your car is in an accident, manufacturer certification means technicians use factory-specified repair procedures, genuine OEM parts, and brand-specific paint-matching technology — not generic aftermarket alternatives.

Nalley's 5 Atlanta collision centers hold I-CAR Gold Class certification — the industry's highest training standard — plus direct factory certification from over 15 brands including BMW, Lexus, Audi, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, and Infiniti. That matters for structural integrity, safety systems, resale value, and insurance compliance.

Each location works directly with all major insurance carriers, coordinating claims and rental vehicles. Open Monday through Saturday.

CarMax, Carvana, Amazon Autos, and AutoTrader operate zero collision centers. If you buy from them and get into an accident, you're finding your own shop, vetting certifications, and managing your insurance claim without any help from the company that sold you the car.

Factory Warranty vs. Third-Party Contract

A new or CPO vehicle from Nalley carries a warranty backed directly by the manufacturer — Toyota, Honda, BMW, Lexus, and others. Claims go through the brand’s authorized network, wherever you are.

CarMax's MaxCare plan is administered by Fidelity Warranty Services. Carvana's CarvanaCare goes through SilverRock. Both are third-party companies — not the retailer that sold you the car — that step in between you and a resolution when something breaks.

The accountability gap is real. With a manufacturer-backed warranty there’s one clear chain of responsibility. With a third-party administrator, coverage disputes involve separate companies, separate call centers, and contracts written to limit exposure — not expand it.

Amazon Autos: Shopping Tool, Not Ownership Support

Amazon Autos launched in December 2024, partnering with Hyundai and Ford franchise dealers for new and CPO inventory. Customers complete the purchase online, then visit the dealership to test drive, sign, and take delivery.

Amazon is the marketplace — not the dealer. There is no Amazon service center, no Amazon collision facility, no Amazon warranty team. All post-sale support flows through the partner dealership and manufacturer. Amazon's own documentation confirms this explicitly.

Amazon streamlines the shopping experience. The ownership experience — service, collision repair, warranties — depends entirely on which dealership you happen to pick up from. Amazon isn’t there for that part.

AutoTrader: A Listing Board, Not a Dealer

AutoTrader is an advertising marketplace where thousands of dealers and private sellers list vehicles. There is no AutoTrader warranty, no AutoTrader service center, and no AutoTrader collision support.

Every element of ownership after the sale depends on the individual seller you found through their platform. AutoTrader's own terms disclaim responsibility for listing accuracy, vehicle condition, and buyer-seller transactions.

Comparing AutoTrader to Nalley is like comparing a classified ad to a relationship. AutoTrader helps you browse. Nalley takes care of you — before, during, and long after the sale.
