How much is a 2027 Honda Civic?
The 2027 Civic sedan starts at $26,290 with destination for the LX ($24,995 MSRP plus a $1,295 destination charge). The Sport is $28,290, the new Sport-L $29,790, the Sport Hybrid $30,990 and the Sport Touring Hybrid $33,990. The hatchback starts at $29,490 for the Sport and tops out at $35,190 for the Sport Touring Hybrid. Prices exclude tax, title and tag.
What is the difference between the 2026 and 2027 Civic?
Not much mechanically. Both years use the same 150-hp 2.0L four-cylinder or the 200-hp two-motor hybrid, with the same EPA ratings. For 2027 Honda added a Sport-L trim, added S+ Shift to the Sport Touring Hybrid, and raised prices about $400 per trim including destination ($300 MSRP plus a $100 higher destination charge). There are no new colors or wheel designs.
What is the new Civic Sport-L?
A new gas-powered trim between the Sport and the Sport Hybrid. It costs $1,500 more than the Sport ($29,790 sedan, $30,990 hatchback) and adds leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. It keeps the 150-hp engine and 34 mpg combined rating.
What is S+ Shift on the 2027 Civic?
S+ Shift is a drive mode borrowed from the Honda Prelude. It uses software to simulate stepped gear changes in the hybrid system for a more engaging feel during spirited driving. For 2027 it is standard on, and exclusive to, the Sport Touring Hybrid.
Should I buy the Civic gas or hybrid?
At 15,000 miles a year and $3.00 a gallon, a 34-mpg Civic Sport costs about $1,324 a year in fuel and a 49-mpg Sport Hybrid sedan about $918, a saving of roughly $406. The hybrid also makes 200 hp and 232 lb-ft versus 150 hp and 133 lb-ft. The Sport Hybrid costs $2,700 more than the Sport, so the fuel savings alone take roughly seven years to cover that gap. The sticker gap shrinks to $1,200 against the new Sport-L.
Civic sedan or hatchback?
The sedan is cheaper and starts lower, with an LX trim the hatchback does not offer. The hatchback costs $1,200 more on matching trims and has 24.5 cu ft of cargo space with the rear seats up versus 14.8 cu ft in the sedan trunk. Gas mpg is the same (34 combined on the Sport); the hybrid hatchback is rated 47 combined versus 49 for the sedan.
What happened to the Civic Si?
Coverage of the 2027 lineup notes the Si is not part of it, leaving the Sport Touring Hybrid and the Type R for drivers who want more engagement. The Civic Type R continues as a separate model. Ask your Nalley store about any remaining 2026 Si stock.
How much Georgia tax will I pay on a new Civic?
Georgia charges a one-time 7% Title Ad Valorem Tax (TAVT) instead of sales tax. On a $28,290 Civic Sport that is roughly $1,980. Your trade-in lowers the taxable amount when you buy from a dealer.

Yes. Complete the purchase on Clicklane. Delivery is free within 100 miles of the dealership, which covers Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Forsyth and Clayton counties. Every listing has a 7-day no-questions-asked return and a 30-day exchange guarantee.
Does Nalley sell the Honda Civic?
Yes. Nalley Honda lists new and certified pre-owned Civics in the Atlanta area, including certified hybrid hatchbacks. Inventory and pricing change daily, so check current listings on nalleycars.com. Prices on this page are Honda's national pricing, not Nalley's listed prices.
Does a new Civic need an emissions test in metro Atlanta?
Not at first. Emissions testing covers 13 metro counties, and the three newest model years are exempt, so a 2027 Civic's first test comes with its 2030 registration.
